TETRA DEGASTOR SYSTEMS

Deaerator Systems are used to remove molten gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) in water. For the removal of molten gases in water; The water enters the unit from the distribution diffuser at the top of the Deaerator. The water drains downwards, coming into contact with the rings that are filled in the upper tower of the Deaerator. While it is gliding downwards, the air provided by the deaerator fan is given from the bottom up, and the contact of the water with the air is ensured. The air absorbs the dissolved gases in the water and blows them away. Thus, the gases in the water are removed with the reverse flow principle and the purified water is stored at the bottom of the Deaerator.

DEGASING SYSTEMS

Deaerator systems lighten the load on ion exchange systems by removing both naturally occurring gases and gases formed as a by-product in various stages of water treatment. These simple and economical systems do not require any maintenance and the frequency of the resin regeneration process is significantly reduced when they are used.

FORCED DRAFT CARBON DIOXIDE REMOVALS

It consists of an atmospheric deaerator tank filled with plastic material. The process water is sprayed onto this filling material from above, so that the water disperses slowly and releases the carbon dioxide inside. The exhausted gas is discharged from a ventilation neck in the upper part of the tank by means of a low pressure fan. Process water, on the other hand, is collected in a tank that forms the lower part of the unit and goes to the next stage of treatment.

WHEN ARE THESE UNITS NEEDED?

Forced blast carbon dioxide degassers remove most gases, especially carbon dioxide, from the process water and are typically used between cationic and anionic ion exchange units or downstream of the RO unit. If the carbon dioxide level of the process water is high; Not using a CO2 deaerator; It causes the regeneration process of the anionic resin to become more frequent, time loss and excessive chemical consumption. Carbon dioxide is a byproduct of the cation exchange process and pH control using various acids.
